Alexa for high flying fun.

and fin patterns to build from a Baby Bertha kit that you supply yourself.

DER FAT MAX
DER FAT MAX is just as GOONY as the others... only bigger!!
Who ever said that a wacky design could not get any GOONY-er? It may look familiar, but the wording has been changed
to protect the GOONY!!
DER FAT MAX is based on the FAT BOY kit. All you need to add
is DER FAT MAX fins, DER FAT MAX decals, and you are off. Like all Retro Bash sets, the GOONY MAX contains decals,
instructions, and fin patterns. You supply the FAT BOY kit.

HONEST GOON
The HONEST GOON... just one look says it all: slow and low. It lumbers off the pad yet is very stable.
The secret is that big, fat nose section. (actually a BT-6070, and a BNC70AJ). It is fun to build, and and even more fun to
lob... I mean fly.
The Honest Goon requires slightly more skill than the
other GOONYs as the modeler must build the nosecone from a balsa transition and a balsa nosecone. We rate it at Skill Level
2. As with other Retro Bash kits, the basis is a Baby Bertha. Included are instructions, fin patterns and all the decals
needed to build your own Honest Goon. The modeler must supply a Baby Bertha kit, a BT70AJ,
a TA6070, and a small ring of BT70..
Plans, patterns, and decals: $6.00

KRAM
The KRAM is proof that even 3 fins and a nosecone can be Goony!! Just like its inspiration, this
model 'breaks' in the middle, and can be recovered with a parachute or a traditional streamer.
The KRAM is a kitbash of the Baby Bertha kit. All you need to
add is the KRAM fins, convert to center seperation, add the KRAM decals, and you are off. Like all Retro Bash sets, the
KRAM contains decals, instructions, and fin patterns to build from a Baby Bertha kit that you supply yourself.
KRAM plans, and decals: $6.00

CLOUD HOPPER
'Bunny Rabbit' decal/kitbash set now available!
Just in time for your spring launch... The old classic is re-born as a Baby Bertha bash. The Excelsior
version includes decals for the rabbit's face which was not offered in the classic kit. The decals are accurate, and purists
can use them to build a 13mm powered replica of the classic design simply by changing the motor mount and cutting
the body tube down to 5" (classic design pictured). Excelsior Rocketry supplies the decals and plans. You supply the
Baby Bertha along with some extra 3/32" balsa wood. (carrots not included).
Plans, patterns, decals: $6.00.

57 GOONY
When will the era of private spacecarft really be here? When the first teenager is able to purchase
an old surplus scoutcraft, and turn it into a hot rod of course!! The 57 GOONY is the rocket that says.. "Tailfins?
I'll show you tailfins!". Paint it black with flames... or candy apple red! Full color and and silver metallic
trim will make the 57 GOONY the favorite of your fleet.
The 57 GOONY comes complete with decals, instructions, and patterns to convert a Baby Bertha
kit (That you supply yourself.) Additional materials needed are some 3/32" finstock and 8 extra launch lugs for the 'exhaust
pipes'.
Plans, patterns, and decals $6.00

GOONYDENT
Sometimes the future doesn't always end up looking like the artist's
conceptions led us to believe. The GOONYDENT is a case in point. It is not slim and trim, but brutish, and powerful.
Although the ducted cooling system is still there, the more massive design calls for an uprated motor and a
more rounded look. Despite this change, we are sure that you will love building a model of this 'Atomic Space Cruiser' of
the future.
The GOONYDENT is the most advanced RETRO-BASH kit yet. We rate it
at a skill level 4 due to the vented ejection system: You see, the GOONYDENT requires no recovery wadding as the ejection
charge gasses from the powerful D12-5 motor are vented from the Atomic Engine Pod, through the Atomic Cooling Tubes, into
the Forward Crew Compartment in order to eject the 'laundry' for a peaceful descent back to earth.
The GOONYDENT decal/planset comes complete with decals instructions,
fin patterns, and tube marking wraps. You supply two Baby Bertha kits, an extra Bertha style nosecone, 3 15.75" long
BT-5 tubes, 6 BT-5 'Mosquito' style nosecones, a 24mm Motor Mount (part # EMK-24-60
available from Fliskits: www.fliskits.com ), 3/32" fin stock, and a two foot length of 1/8" elastic shock
chord.

APOGOON
As seen at NARAM 46, The Apogoon proves that you can build anything out of a Baby Bertha...
or in this case, 2 Baby Berthas!! The APOGOON is a vented gap staged design that follows classic lines. In addition to
two Baby Bertha kits, 3/32" balsa sheet, a NB-60 noseblock, and a section of clear plastic tubing is required. (available
at your local hardware store in the guise of a flourescent tube cover).
At NARAM 46, a pair of Apogoons were launched one after the other on B6-0, B6-4 motors. Both boosters
tumbled to land within 10 feet of the launch pad, and both sustainers landed within 100 feet of the launch pad, 10 feet from
one another!!
This rear vented, gap staged design has had 100% success in upper stage ignition. The booster
actually flutters down, as a booster should, and the upper stage is easily recoverable, even in a medium sized school
launch field. Due to the added skills required for a staged design, we place this model at Skill Level 3.

IRON WOMBAT
The 1980s just do not look the same from the 21st Century as
they did in the 1970s. What was promised as a sleek sub-orbital interceptor, turned out to be yet another tubby
'design by commitee' failure. But the 1980's loss is our gain.
This model of the Iron Wombat requires just a bit more
skill than the other GOONYs as it involves a paper cockpit, as well as cutting and piecing a balsa nosecone to get
the proper Ram-Jet look. We rate it at Skill Level 3. As with other Retro Bash kits, the basis is a Baby Bertha. In
addition to 3/32" balsa sheet, this kit also requires a NCB60-DW balsa nosecone. Included
are instructions, fin patterns and all the decals needed to build your own Iron Wombat.
Plans, patterns, and decals: $6.00

NOT SO NICE

Mean, the GOONY get NOT SO NICE.
The NOT SO NICE ...DEVICE is modelled by kit-bashing the Baby
Bertha kit. Building it is easy! Just swap the NOT SO NICE fins, for the stock ones. Paint it black, decal it, and you
too can be NOT SO NICE. Like the other Retro Bash sets, the NOT SO NICE ...DEVICE set contains decals, instructions, and fin
patterns to build from a Baby Bertha kit that you supply yourself.

V-10/6
The following is from a top secret interview with the aged Prof Von Vogel, an ancient rocket
scientist whose works remain obscure even to this day:
"All mine life, I schtudy rockets. I came up mit der original idea to paint der rockets black and
weiss, to match my little kitty kat named 'Toonsie'. Vat could be more logical den dat? Den, along comes dat little Prussian
vipper-snapper, dey tink he ist some kind of genius just 'cause he hast a neat haircut. Well, de basic design vas
mine I tell you, as you can see mit dis model off mine V-10/6 rocket. Dey called me crazy, mad as a hatter even, but someday
dey will see... "
"And another tink... dose rrroll patterns is not Vs... dey ist Ws!!"

little model called the GOONYBIRD ZERO.
The GOONYBIRD ZERO is a kitbash of the Baby Bertha kit. All
you need to add is the GOONYBIRD ZERO fins, the GOONYBIRD ZERO decals, and you are off. Like all Retro Bash sets, the GOONYBIRD
ZERO contains decals, instructions, and fin patterns to build from a Baby Bertha kit that you supply yourself.
GOONYBIRD ZERO plans and decals: $6.00

NIKE-G
Yes, a GOONY version of the the lovable 'Nike that never
was' . Despite the forward fins, this design is stable without any additional noseweight. It has been successfully flown
in a 20mph wind!
The NIKE-G is based on the Baby Bertha kit. All you need to add is the NIKE-G fins, the NIKE-G decals,
and you are off. Like all Retro Bash sets, the NIKE-G contains decals, instructions, and fin patterns to build from a Baby
Bertha kit that you supply yourself.
Get Goony with the NIKE-G for only $6.00!!
GOONY GOBLIN
The Goony Goblin stands 10.5" tall, and has a simple yet striking
paint scheme. Combining several elements of vintage rocket decor, with a currently available kit, allows the builder
to construct a model with style and character not often found in today's bland 'commitee designed' kits. Engine selection,
and performance is similar in all respects to the Baby Bertha.
The GOONY GOBLIN Retro-Bash set comes complete with instructions,
decals, and fin patterns to build the Goony Goblin from a Baby Bertha kit (purchased seperately). All parts from the Baby
Bertha are used with the exeception of the fins.
Decals, patterns and instructions: $5.00
