Classic Waterslide Decals
Our Classic line features decals that allow the model rocketeer to build reproductions of classic rockets of the past.
Original GOONYBIRDS
GOONYBIRDS were released in the early 1970s. They were described as the "Zaniest flying freaks in the universe".
Pre D: 'old school' classic decals
Excelsior Rocketry's Pre D line of 'golden age' decals allow the model rocketeer to build reproductions
of model rockets from the pages of early catalogs.
Retro Bash!!
Retro-Bash decal/plansets are a whole new concept in model rocketry. Retro-Bash
plansets are not kits, but decals, instructions, and patterns allow the model rocketeer to 'kit-bash' and build exciting model
rockets from a readily available Baby Bertha kit (plus a few extra parts) that have the flavor of kits
from years ago.
Upscale and Downscale Classic Decals
Excelsior's upscale and downscale classic decals allow the model rocketeer to build larger or smaller versions of
classic designs.
Scale decals and plansets
Excelsior carries accurate decals in various scales to that allow the model rocketeer to build scale model
rockets. Most are unavailable anywhere else.
Excelsior original decal/plansets
Excelsior now offers decals and kit bash instructions for original designs. Our goal is to help rocketeers build rockets
that are more than three fins and a nose cone.
Custom Decal services

The "Briterceptor" decal set allows the modeler to build a British version of the Interceptor.
It features British cockades, RSN (Royal Space Navy) markings, Union Jack tail markings as well as 5 ship names to choose
from: Boudicca, Drake, Nelson, Wellington, and Churchill.
CANADIAN/US BOMARC decals in 1/24 scale
Excelsior Rocketry is proud to offer a new scale decal set that allows the modeler to build two different Bomarc models:
A Canadian Airforce version, and a US/Canadian version that was tipped with a nuclear warhead. The decal set is scaled at
1/24 scale to fit the old ESTES kit #0654. Included is a decal placement sheet with color pictures of both missiles,
as well as links for additional scale info.

CLOUD HOPPER
'Bunny Rabbit' decal/kitbash set now available!
Just in time for your spring launch... The old classic is re-born as a Baby Bertha bash. The Excelsior
version includes decals for the rabbit's face which was not offered in the classic kit. The decals are accurate, and purists
can use them to build a 13mm powered replica of the classic design simply by changing the motor mount and cutting
the body tube down to 5". Excelsior Rocketry supplies the decals and plans. You supply the
Baby Bertha along with some extra 3/32" balsa wood. (carrots not included).

Excelsior releases German A4/V2 decal sheet
Excelsior Rocketry announces the release of the first of our new V2 decal
sets. This set includes decals for German A4/V2 test flights, as well as operational missiles.
The test
flight decals include 'tail art' and fin#s for test flights # 3 and 4, 'The flying Witch', and the 'Frau im Monde', most sets
will also include tail stripes for later Peenemunde test launches. The operational decals include 5 sets of serial numbers
to decorate your camoflaged, or solid olive painted operational missiles. An Excelsior Rocketry exclusive will be a decal
representing the 'fin can' seperation line, so often overlooked by other model designers. Also included is a sheet showing
decal placement, color schemes, and further references.
To make this decal set usable to as many modelers as possible,
seperate decal sets will be offered to fit the models with the following diameters:
BT-55, BT-60, 2.25", 3.16", BT-80
and BT-101.
A follow up set will soon be released featuring decals to model post-war American launches.
To the left is a representation of 5 of the 8 different rockets than can be modeled using this decal
set. (Note: the 'Frau im Monde' decal has two view to show the complicated roll pattern.)

Sometimes the future doesn't always end up looking like the artist's
conceptions led us to believe. The GOONYDENT is a case in point. It is not slim and trim, but brutish, and powerful.
Although the ducted cooling system is still there, the more massive design calls for an uprated motor and a
more rounded look. Despite this change, we are sure that you will love building a model of this 'Atomic Space Cruiser' of
the future.

EXCELSIOR HAS RETURNED FROM NARAM
We look very happy to meet many rocketeers at this event. Despite car problems, we displayed
and flew a number of new RETRO BASH GOONY designs.
While we were away, Yahoo decided to delete our old email addresses. The Excelsior website has
